This text does not cover how to fight. it just contains a few tips on how to harness that killer instinct inside you.

Please note that I am male, and all of this is based on first hand experience, so I cannot promise that females will find my information useful.

Some will tell you that the seed of rage is planted in the soil of survival. That your killer instinct will be brought on by imminent death. What they refer to is fear. Fear gives men wings, it makes them stronger, faster, smarter, better in almost every way. But I'm not dealing with fear. There can be no fear here. Fear is a weakness when attempting to utilize rage for your survival, or perhaps dominance.

In men, rage is simple. "ME!". You are bigger. You are angrier. You are MORE POWERFUL! These are the thoughts of rage. Testosterone is a beautiful chemical. High levels of it let us, men, enjoy and thrive in competitive environments. Testosterone is what makes firing a gun or smashing a window or running a race fun. Not fun in the friendly, happy way, but fun in the "YEAH MUFUCKA! WHO THE FUCK IS YOUR DADDY YOU LITTLE BITCH! DON'T STEP TO THE COURT IF YOU AINT GOT NO SKILLS!" way.

That being said, rage stems from the desire to win, not the resentment of losing. That brings weakness, and will cause you to lose a fight. you must seek to win, not avoid losing. This being said, i find rage comes easiest when closest to losing, because a fear of losing inspires a desire to win. The thing about rage is that it must always be objective, active, never subjective or passive.

The path to victory in feats or competitions of strength lies on this harnessing of the emotional charge you get from testosterone. Did it hurt? FUCK YEAH IT HURT THAT ASSHOLE HIT ME!!! Well then hit him the fuck back.

Think of dogs. Dogs are the most simple animals, yet they reflect men quite clearly. Groups of dogs form families called packs, that may or may not have anything to do with bloodline. This is true of all canine species, in fact. In a pack, there is one dog, one tough as nails, baby-eating prick of a dog who has the biggest balls. You hear that? Biggest BALLS. After that, the other dogs form a chain of inferiority, until the last two, who constantly fight to be on top of each other. This being said, its not the biggest, or the smartest, or the fastest dog, its the dog who's got the big fucking stick up his ass.

As a human owning dogs, in order to get your dog to listen to you, you must assert, clearly, that you are the alpha, and it is the beta. Seeing as Canus Familiaris has been domesticated for thousands of years, its fairly easy to get most dogs to acknowledge humans as an 'alpha race', but this is irrelevant. Dogs only understand one form of power: physical power. They also understand that food comes from you, but even if it didnt, you'd still be able to control them with physical power. A new dog in your home may respect you even if you arent dominant, but if you are it will respect you regardless of any other circumstance. Its easy when you raise a puppy from birth: when they're small you take care of them and they learn to love you, on top of that its easy to create a discipline pattern when they're young that they'll never forget, even when they've grown bigger than you, in the case of truly large dogs. With a new dog though, you'd have to start right off the bat making it understand that it was your home, you were in charge.

This is a tricky concept to apply to a fight. Does that mean you have to be bigger than the other person in order to use rage tactics? No, it just means that you'll have to act and feel like you're bigger than them. Just bear with this whole dogs vein, and eventually it'll make sense.

At any rate, having owned many dogs, I can tell you that it's no walk in the park getting them to stop fighting. When dogs in the same pack fight, truly fight, not just nipping or growling, but full on melee, it is only ever to establish dominance. A dog cannot peacefully coexist with a dog that it feels it must constantly defend itself from. Otherwise, the dogs must form a line, strongest to weakest, and respect the chain of command.

The only way to get them to stop hurting each other in competition for position, is to remind them that it doesnt matter what their position is beneath you, because you are BETTER than either of them at hurting. This is truly a simple juxtaposition if you think about it. Your competing for status based on whose strongER. I'm strongEST so your status doesnt matter. A dog will respect any creature that it sees as being stronger than it but choosing not to kill it.

Please, dont start knifing your dogs because of this. I have never abused my animals, only put them in their place. I love them all very tenderly, but part of owning animals is sometimes hurting them a little to prevent them from hurting themselves more. In most situations a big voice and a swift kick to each of the enraged animals is sufficient. Dont hit the ones that are cowering or defenseless, only the ones who wont back down. If its not working, you didn't hit hard enough, but dont go breaking any bones. If you can't control your animals comfortably, please call 911 emergency.

In the end, the offending parties are more likely to accept their inferiority and stop fighting because its what you want.

So, in a situation in which I didn't step in, the dog who never gave up would be the winner, not because he was stronger, but because his will wouldnt bend. It's kind of a 'You may kill me, but I'll kill you too" attitude, but it works. Most people arent willing to die just to put you in your place. The ones who are will end up winning, unless you kill them first or give up. The two dogs who fight in my house are 2 months and about 10 pounds apart, which is alot for medium sized dogs. One is clearly smaller and has a smaller jaw and is of a more demure presence, he's a maltese sheppard. The other is a big, proud, rambunctious pit bull. The pit bull struts around tall and has a big ego, but the smaller one, the sheppard has one nasty fucking temper when he's mad. The pit bull may act like he's in charge, but when the sheppard decides something he's got no choice but to comply.

For the record, the sheppard always injures the pit bull more, even though, as i said, the pit bull is significantly larger.

but this isnt about physicality. its about mentality. you must BE the alpha male. Not because you want to be, but because you are. The smaller dog doesnt win because he's stronger or more resilient, it's because when his eye's been gouged out and he's lost teeth and he's missing a paw, he'll still be trying to rip out the other dog's throat. So, give that fucker a piece of your mind, let him know that you're not going down without pulling him with you by the testicles. Bite, gauge, smash and tear your way into proving that you have a murderous rage far greater than the average punk. Mantras really help, such as screaming, swearing, hissing, or even grunting. I have seen some very normal people turn into complete animals when faced with defeat in a bare knuckle boxing match in a gravel pit. I have seen very small, VERY normal people turn into hysterical psychopaths before putting their friends in the hospital and not knowing.

I once saw a 120lbs teenage boy with a bicep i could literally touch my thumb and forefinger around hammer in the temple of a 20 something athlete who looked like he ate steroids for a midnight snack. We don't know if that guy lived, we dragged our friend away, basically trying to kill us too, and found the nearest payphone.

You too can be that kid, just remember, that little kernel in your chest that makes your face burn when you get pushed in the dirt, that is the warm little center of the engine you can start inside your brain, and turn towards your enemy. You'll be surprised what you can do if you just focus your energy on being alpha to your target.

Don't apply these things to anything but intimidation or physical conflict (sports are okay, just dont get carried away!) or you won;t like the results. This approach may work for the pack system of the canine social order, but humans are herd animals, we take turns applying ourselves to the roles of alpha and beta as the situation permits.

Food for Thought - Mankind experiences a cooperative herd society. What would a hunting, pack based society be like? What about a solitary predator society? Or a scavenger society? How would society become like this?
